Combat the Urban Heat Island Effect
A Message from Team Leader, Anne-Beatrix:
Focusing on the Urban Heat Island Effect, team #3 created this website to educate and inform the public about the effects they have on the environment, as well as to serve as an official place to document the achievements of our Mary Bragg Green Team. This wasn’t our team’s original goal. We originally wanted to do something similar to what our first two teams were doing by planting trees. However, we also wanted to differentiate ourselves from the others, hence coming up with the idea of a website. We constantly update the information, keeping up with our current projects.
